Marcus Rashford’s representatives have reportedly reached an advanced stage of talks with FC Barcelona, with both parties optimistic about striking a deal soon.
According to sport, the agreement under discussion includes a contract until 2030, featuring a significant salary reduction from Rashford’s current Manchester United earnings. In return, Barcelona would offer long-term sporting stability and a central role in the team’s future project.
Sources in Spain suggest the deal could begin as an initial loan with a €35 million buy option, with Rashford open to lowering his wages to facilitate the move.
Negotiations are said to be progressing positively, and formal discussions with Manchester United are expected to accelerate in the coming days.
